Ocena: 1/10

Today, I've watched the famous  Fifty shades of Grey. I must admit, that form
the very beginning I'm not very fond of the whole phenomenon, tho' I've bought
all three books. The first one I've read until the point when Anastasia
finishes her first interview with Christian and those of you who watched or
read it know, that it's not very far along. My purchase was so more useful for
my neighbors and friends, because the books are travelling around ever since.
When the movie came to theater, there was no doubt that I'm not gonna go see
it, but as I always try to stay open minded, I watched it at home.
I swear! I was open to possibility
that I could like the movie, but now that I've seen it I understand many
critics that said that they left the hall before the movie ended. The movie is
boring, the sex scenes are stiff and nothing like sexy or exciting. Jamie
Dornan is really hot, so this is probably the only bright part of the movie,
but Dakota Johnson in totally stiff and flavorless, without the essence that
this kind of character should have.
The idea of sexual dominance and
the red play room from the movie is also presented really boring and totally
unattractive. I will not judge that way of sexual expression, because I believe
that everyone should do whatever one likes behind the doors of their own
bedroom, but in this story, the idea is presented really badly. In times when
differences between men and women are often really blended, when in many ways
we are more than equal and it's almost hard to find things that are strictly
male or female, I think that the idea of a really masculine man who would
dominate you or be stronger than you, especially in emotional and intellectual
way, can be really sexy. Having said that, I think that in order to letting someone
dominate you, you don't have to become sexual object, a quiet little mouse
without her own will and saying. A woman, who admits that she likes to have a real
man, who can take care of her, be mentally strong and can support her so she
can count on him, doesn't need to throw away all her integrity and power. The
whole story seems to me like a fantasy of a desperate housewife without her own
power, without character and own will. I'm sorry because I really don't want to
judge by looks, but the fact that the author is fairly large middle aged woman,
I can hardly imagine that this is anything else than poorly written fantasy,
without a good storyline or any writing talent.
And what, to me, seems even bigger problem is that the women novadays are always complaining how there are no good men left, how men don't treat us right etc. But on the other hand we search for men who we can "mend" and who will change just for us. This story, as I've heard how it ends, teaches women all over the world, that no matter how screwed up the guy is, if you love him and if you try, he will change for you. In some cases thanks god that it is so, because some people need help with things from the past, but not always.
I still won't judge people who
enjoyed watching or reading it. At the end, I myself like to watch Legally
Blonde and I know that it's trash, but I relax, enjoy and laugh at it. To each
their own. The purpose of movies and literature is also entertainment and at
this genre for which is obvious that it lacks any artistic value, the
entertainment is primary purpose.
I may be a little to rash with that
movie because in the past days and weeks I was mainly watching high quality
movies from the lines of Oscar winners and nominees, but I barely made it to
the end of the movie and I for sure can say I'm not gonna watch it again.
